Architecture & [Work] Journal

The second issue of the ESALA journal was launched at an event in the Board Room of Evolution House in Edinburgh on Tuesday 19 January. Titled `Architecture & Work`, the issue features a wide range of scholarship, reflection and discussion on the theme. Contributions include Mark Jarzombek`s essay `Working Out Philip Johnson`s Role in History`, Rab Bennetts on Frank Duffy`s `Work and the City`, Bureau d`Etudes` diagram `Governing by Networks`, Chris Speed on a day in the life of FOA, Alessandro Melis on `Coop Himmelblau Architecture = Work = Labour`, Liam Ross on `Stuffing up the Cracks`, and Dagmar Weston on `The Artist`s Dwelling and Studio as a Matrix of Creative Work`. The cover image is a generous contribution from artist Callum Innes.
